For over 158 years Bahá'ís have been striving to promote the principles of the oneness of God, the oneness of religion, the oneness of mankind and the equality of women and men.

Today, the Bahá'í Faith is the second most wide-spread independent religion in the world.There are Bahá'ís in 235 countries and territories consisting of over 2,100 ethnic, racial, and tribal groups, bringing the number of members to around 5 million worldwide.
